Bass, Berry & Sims has added a trio of corporate and securities lateral attorneys to its Washington office.
Samantha Gallagher, formerly a partner at Hogan Lovells, joins Bass, Berry & Sims as a partner. She is joined by associates Justin Salon and Andy Campbell.
The team has represented real estate investment trusts and national underwriters in real estate capital market transactions. In an interview, Gallagher said that initial public offerings are one area of her practice that has been particularly busy.
In the $250 million initial public offering of Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc., Gallagher represented Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Barclays and Morgan Stanley.
Gallagher said that she had worked in the past with Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys and that she looks forward to building on existing client relationships at her new firm. "I'll continue to do a lot of the same work, both on the issuer side and the underwriters," she said.
