Allen & Overy has added a pair of partners to its U.S. securities and financial services regulatory practice in Washington.
Jeffrey Lehtman and William White join the firm from Richards Kibbe & Orbe and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, respectively.
Lehtman is a former trial attorney with the Department of Justice's Office of International Affairs. He focuses his practice on cross-border enforcement matters and parallel regulatory proceedings before domestic and foreign regulatory authorities.
White is a former branch chief and senior trial counsel with the Securities and Exchange Commission's enforcement division. He focuses his practice on regulatory inquiries and investigations involving the SEC and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
"They bring expertise which is a perfect addition to the work we do both here in the U.S. and for our global clients located outside the U.S.," Kevin O'Shea, U.S. managing partner said in a written statement.
