Thompson Hine has added three transportation and international trade attorneys to its D.C. office, the firm announced Monday.
Charles Hunnicutt, G. Brent Connor and Patricia Snyder made the move from Troutman Sanders. Hunnicutt joins as senior counsel and Connor and Snyder join as counsel. The laterals bring the total number of transportation group attorneys to nine.
David Wilson, Thomspon Hine’s partner-in-charge of the firm's Washington office, said the additions were part of the firm’s strategic growth plan.
“We are going to grow in areas that complement our existing strengths,” Wilson said. “We do anticipate further growth.”
Hunnicutt used the example of one client, Fed-Ex Express, the airline component of the logistics services company, to show how companies deal with a global supply chain.
“Since they operate a worldwide aviation network we have a lot of regulatory aviation issues,” Hunnicutt said.
