Morrison & Foerster has added a lateral attorney to its corporate group in Washington, the firm announced Wednesday.
David Slotkin, formerly a partner at Hogan Lovells, joins as a partner. He focuses on corporate and securities transactions, private and public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. His clients include public companies and investment banks, among others.
In an interview, Slotkin said that he made the jump to Morrison because of his desire to expand his corporate and capital markets practice. He added he would like to expand into the technology realm.
“I felt like it was a good place to pursue a more entrepreneurial-type practice,” Slotkin said.
