A Washington intellectual property attorney has moved to Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, the firm announced Thursday.
Michael Dimino, formerly counsel at Novak Druce + Quigg, has joined Kilpatrick's Washington office as counsel on the firm's electronics and software team. Before attending law school, Dimino developed radio frequency surveillance systems for the Department of Defense, according to a press release.
Dimino focuses his practice on technology licensing, open source software issues, IP rights involving federal research contracts and patent prosecution.
“We’re thrilled that Michael is joining Kilpatrick Townsend,” Steve Baskin, Kilpatrick’s Washington, DC Office Managing Partner, said in a statement. “He will be an excellent addition to our already strong Electronics and Software Team and to the D.C. office.”
