A former clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has rejoined Wiley Rein as a partner in the appellate and telecommunications practices, the firm announced today.
Elbert Lin served as one of four clerks for Thomas during the 2010 term before rejoining his former firm.
Prior to joining Wiley Rein in 2007, Lin clerked for Judge William Pryor Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and Judge Robert Keeton in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
"He is a bright young star and an outstanding addition to our already deep and talented team of litigators,” managing partner Richard Wiley said in a written statement. “We are proud of what Elbert has achieved and are certain that he will provide great service to our clients."
