Allen & Overy has added a partner to its financial services regulatory practice in Washington, the firm announced Monday.
Bill Satchell is the fourth former O’Melveny & Myers regulatory partner to jump ship to Allen & Overy in as many months. In late June, Barbara Stettner, Chris Salter and Charles Borden left O’Melveny for Allen & Overy when the London-based firm opened its D.C. office.
The addition of Satchell will expand the firm's consumer finance and enforcement practice areas in Washington, according to a press release.
“Bill’s addition to our growing team will add further depth and increase our abilities to service our global financial services clients across the rapidly changing regulatory landscape,” Doug Landy, head of the firm's U.S. financial services regulatory practice, said in a press release.
