Five attorneys have jumped from Dickstein Shapiro to join Perkins Coie’s insurance coverage practice in the firm's Washington office.
Leon Kellner and Vivek Chopra have joined as partners and Christina Buschmann, Aaron Coombs and Laura Dellatorre have been hired as associates, according to a Perkins Coie press release. They join partners Selena Linde and Michale Sharkey, who made the jump from Dickstein to Perkins Coie about two months ago.
The group will focus on representing corporate policyholders in insurance recovery efforts in state and federal courts, in part through advising clients on environmental liability, first-party losses, directors and officers insurance, and asbestos coverage, among other issues.
"We are very pleased to have this new group on board with us," said Tim Burns, Perkins Coie's insurance coverage litigation practice chair, in the release. "Leon and Vivek are exceptional policyholder attorneys and add to our growing bench of first-chair litigators."
