For the second year in a row, a Fisher & Phillips partner has been named one of the 50 most influential environment, health and safety leaders in the country by a magazine that specializes in such issues.
Edwin Foulke Jr. was given the honor on Tuesday by EHS Today, a magazine for environment, health and safety professionals.
“He has brought a breadth and depth of knowledge to the health and safety field practice,” said Tom Rebel, a partner who serves on the Atlanta-based firm’s management committee. “He is a terrific person, so it’s always nice when you can add somebody like that to your firm as an asset.”
Foulke, who practices out of the firm’s D.C. and Atlanta offices, is co-chairman of the firm’s workplace safety and catastrophe management practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Foulke had served as the Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and as chairman of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission in D.C.
“He has really invigorated our OSHA practice and has gotten exceptional results for our clients in the relatively short time he has been here,” Rebel said.
