Roetzel & Andress has snagged a group of Washington intellectual property lawyers from Holland & Knight, including the head of Holland's patent practice.
The group, led by Sunwoo Lee, includes two partners, two associates, and a patent agent. Their practice covers patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation, as well as opinions, licensing, due diligence, and client counseling on patent mining and strategic patent portfolios.
In addition to Lee, who holds a Ph.D in solid state science and technology, Roetzel & Andress adds Jon Crocker as a partner. Crocker specializes in representing electronics makers and has served as lead trial attorney for intellectual property matters on behalf of Fortune 100 companies. Prior to entering private practice, he was chief of civil litigation for the U.S. Army.
Baldine Paul and Benjamin Maskell join as associates, and Donald Monin Jr. as a patent agent.
“Their wide range of experience in the patent and trademark areas will greatly complement our current firmwide capabilities in the IP arena,” said Gary Adler, partner-in-charge of Roetzel's Washington office, in a statement.
