This is another instance illustrating the failure of checks and balances in the area of civil liberties. We need a cabinet level department, The Department of Civil Liberties, to be a watchdog of encroachments on our constitutional rights by the Justice Department, the Defense Department, and our intelligence agencies.

These idiots need to read the US constitution, this is considered tyranny, and the duty to invoke removal of a tyrannous government, is called for. This is not permitted. period. And those that think this is okay, are criminals, and forfeit their government positions. period.

Maybe if Jon Stewart promised not to comment on the Daily Show about anything that was discovered, the court case could proceed.
