Arnold & Porter has picked up another ex-Heller Ehrman partner. Charles Curtis Jr., previously co-chair of Heller's appellate group, is now a partner in Arnold & Porter's business litigation practice.
Curtis was based in Heller's Madison, Wis. office. Though Arnold & Porter does not have a Madison office, he will continue to be based in Madison while frequently traveling to the firm's Washington office.
Curtis specializes in representing individual, corporate, associational, and government clients in their relationships with Native American tribes and tribal entities. His work spans a number of areas, including treaty rights, environmental matters, and public policy.
Earlier this month, Arnold & Porter welcomed five other litigators from Heller: Kenneth Chernof and Carl Nadler joined the D.C. office, and James Speyer, John Ulin, and Eric Shapland joined in Los Angeles.
