Disbarred: A former law firm associate disbarred in 1988 for insider trading is in trouble again, reports the New York Law Journal via Law.com. The ex-lawyer, who once worked at the firm now known as Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, was re-admitted in 2003, but has been disbarred again for misrepresenting his past on applications for other jobs and for reinstatement to the bar.
Spitzer: The New York Times reveals more unflattering allegations about former governor and one-time New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer. Sources say Spitzer was directly involved in a smear campaign against State Senate majority leader Joseph Bruno.
