Earlier this week Hogan & Hartson Tyson’s Corner office secured new digs. The firm plans to move the 60-lawyer outpost into 33,000 square feet of brand new space at 7930 Jones Branch Drive in early 2009. Hogan & Hartson signed on for one floor and has an option on another, says office managing partner Emily Yinger.
“It’s about the same amount of square footage,” says Yinger, “ But we’ll have room now to host conferences and other events. Before we’ve had to do that at hotels.” The planned 11-story building, called Park Place II, is under construction in Tyson’s Corner.
Hogan & Hartson has had an office in Northern Virginia for more than two decades, with mergers and acquisitions the largest practice area. The firm’s local clients include Sunrise Senior Living Services Inc., Orbital Sciences Corp., Lockheed Martin Corporation and Gannett Company, Inc.
