The Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless is hosting its 8th annual Lawyers Pitch In softball tournament this weekend in Rockville. 18 law firms are participating in the charity event, which will take place at Cabin John Regional Park on Saturday. Last year, the clinic raised more than $36,000 at the tournament. The clinic advocates for the homeless by providing pro bono legal representation and counsel. It reports that last year, $3.1 million in legal services were donated to its clients.
