Americans need to recognize the Armenian Genocide immediately. Turkey's beautiful land is Armenias and they need to give it back

J.T

There was a time after the ARMENIAN GENOCIODE that the Armenians remaining had no voice. To the dismay of the Turks those days are gone. I am proud to say that the Armenians, after nearly being wiped out by the Ottoman Turks, have re-grouped and are striving for not only recogition but for justice and compensation for the worst crime of all, GENOCIDE. I predict, as time moves forward, that the Armenian genocide denying agents like the opportunist, Livingston or Gephard or even the shameful Israeli lobby will be held accountable and be branded as such; Genocide Deniers and no friend of morality or humanity. Makes me just want to work harder for the justice the Armenians so rightly deserve.

Mr. Bob Livingston I challenge you to a debate; face to face, my research against yours, name it, email me.

Turkish malaise, regarding what they know to be Armenian truths, compliment Livingston's character (or lack of it) nicely.

I suppose it it an appropriate time for Turkey to send out it cronies, considering the entire world is recognizing the atrocities that DID occur during the Armenian genocide, and the force behind the Armenian people grows stronger every day; that must really scare them.

The Livingston and Turkish government officials are from the same fabric. An Iranian proverb is exactly define these two entitites "Yellow dog is the brother of Jackl." I belive, people like Livingston and the others like him will discredit themselves more and nore, because innocent peoples blood is in their hand when they defend Turkish crimes.
People like Livingston are low life politicians without future and past, they struggle for surviveness.

History is very rootless and punish people who are demagogues. History will punish Livingston accordingly and will through him in the history's trash can. In the end of the day, justice will prevail.

The messenger needs to be questioned. This is the same guy that wanted to impeach president Clinton. Bastard.

During the Clinton impeachment scandal, Hustler Magazine publisher Larry Flynt placed an article in his magazine offering up to $1,000,000 for information on sexual indiscretions by Republican officials. Flynt received evidence that Livingston had strayed outside of his marriage and he was preparing to publish this information. Livingston got word that the article was pending. During debate over the impeachment resolution on December 19, 1998, Livingston surprised everyone by stepping down as Speaker-elect and announced he would resign from the House in May 1999. He was succeeded by David Vitter, who later went on to become the first popularly elected Republican senator from Louisiana. Vitter defeated Treen in a hard-fought special election runoff. In 2007, Vitter was revealed to have used escorts working for Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

This is what happens when a foreign country, Turkey in this case, hires a paid agent, Mr. Livingston, to try to convince Americans what is "good" for them.

Turkey uses an ex-American politician to further Turkish interests. Isn't that something. Unfortunately this is not the first time, nor will it be the last. We hear that former Rep. Dick Gephardt has been recruited by Turkey for the specific aim of distorting history to deny the reality of the Armenian Genocide.

Mr. Livingston and the entire Turkish propaganda machine in Washington will simply strengthen the resolve of Americans to fight against such shameless and dangerous revisionism.

Bob Livingston's denial comes no surprise to us. He worked as a Turkish lobbyist for many years. He makes a fundamental political mistake by backing up the Turks. Refusing to provide logistic support to US during the war in Iraq and intereference to the internal affairs of Iraq has proved that the Turks are no longer strategic allies to the Americans. The pathetic record of the human rights records of Turkey and Islamic trend of current Turkish government are evidences that the Turks are repeating the history.

DC

Disgusting. Even by modern Washington standards this is low. And that he purports to be serious about this is just gross.... "gratuitous"? "unnecessary"? Tell that to the 1.5 million dead.

Rich

Former Rep. Bob Livingston has blood on his hands as well as the Turks who killed innocent lives of Armenians.

He may as well be hired by the Nazi party to argue against the holocaust of the Jews.

Didn't he also cheat on his wife? Too bad he couldn't be Speaker of the House, he hasn't an ounce of moral dignity to human life much less his immediate family.
