Last week we reported here and here on news that Jane Sullivan Roberts, the wife of the chief justice, was leaving the D.C. law office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman soon for a new job in the D.C. office of the lawyer recruiting firm, Major, Lindsey & Africa. Folks at Pillsbury had no comment on Friday, but we just received this statement from the firm on her departure:
"Effective May 31, Jane Sullivan Roberts will leave Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP’s Washington D.C. office, where she currently serves as Executive Partner for Talent Development, to join the legal search firm of Major, Lindsey & Africa. Jane has performed tremendous professional development work for Pillsbury’s attorneys and staff, and the firm wishes her great success as she takes a natural step to continue her career in legal talent management at a leading search firm.”
By the way, it will be a busy rest of the month for Jane Roberts. A 1976 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts, she is on the board of trustees of the college where, on May 25, her husband John will be the commencement speaker.
