Saying It All

Google just unveiled a new feature in which it aggregates a particular person's quotes from recent news reports. This is a boon for anyone looking to keep up with the most recent statements by Don Young. Alaska's only member of the House, Young has been dogged by allegations of improper earmarking and ties to Jack Abramoff. And he's not one to walk from a fight.

The highlights from the last week:

"'That,' Young said, 'is a slippery, slippery road.'" — The Associated Press, on the Senate's call for an investigation into his Coconut Road earmark.

"Yesterday, Young called Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell a 'little man that's lying,' over a dispute the two Republican candidates have over an old conversation."
The Anchorage Daily News, on Young's opponent in a primary race.

"I have a right to spend my money as I think I should spend it."
— The Associated Press, on whether Young's donors might feel the $1 million in campaign funds he's spent defending himself from a federal probe were misused.

"'I'm going to enjoying kicking his' butt, Young said."
— The Associated Press, again on Lt. Gov. Parnell.
