Prominent health care specialist Thomas Bulleit has quit Hogan Lovells to join Ropes & Gray as a partner, where he will head the Boston-based firm's health care practice in Washington.
Bulleit’s focuses on legal and regulatory compliance across multiple industries, including academic medical centers, pharmaceuticals, biomedicine and medical devices.
Bulleit was not available for an interview, but in an email he said he "decided to join Ropes & Gray because the firm's health care practice group is highly respected and nationally recognized for its high caliber. This is a wonderful leadership opportunity to lead the strong and growing D.C. health practice of a truly great health law firm." He also said that “several of my clients have already indicated that they intend to continue our client relationship with me at Ropes & Gray.”
Ropes & Gray has about 60 lawyers firm-wide in its health care group.
