'Judge Moralist': U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said Friday that doctors, engineers “or even Joe Six-Pack" are as qualified as judges to make decisions on the morality of issues, the Asheville Citizen-Times reports. "In the United States and indeed throughout the world, belief in the expert has been replaced by the judge moralist,” he said. “We have become addicted to abstract moralizing."
