Two attorneys from Cozen O’Connor, Ralph De Martino and Alec Orudjev, have joined Schiff Hardin’s Washington office as partners in the corporate and securities group. Cavas Pavri, who will practice primarily out of the firm's Philadelphia office as a partner, also made the jump.
De Martino focuses on representing public and private companies, the officers and directors who serve them, and financial institutions, broker-dealers and associated members. Previously, he served as chair of the global securities practice group.
"Schiff has a reputation for representing an international clientele," said De Martino, who along with his two long-time colleagues have provided Chinese clients with counsel on transactional, regulatory and litigation matters.
"I left Cozen O’Connor because the perfect opportunity presented to me…I did not want to leave, I loved it," said De Martino.
Orudjev concentrates his practice in the areas of federal securities and corporate laws, exchange listing/delisting and compliance matters, mergers and acquisitions, and advising start-up and seasoned companies in connection with various organizational, governance and debt/equity financing matters.
Pavri concentrates his practice in securities offerings and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
