A former Federal Communications Commission official has joined Mayer Brown as a partner in the firm's Washington office. Angela Giancarlo, formerly chief of staff and senior legal adviser to FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell, joins the firm's government and global trade practice. She will focus on regulatory and compliance matters with respect to communications technology and services.
SNR Denton has added a lateral partner to its international trade practice in Washington. Mark Lunn, formerly a partner at Arent Fox, represents clients in trade disputes and advises manufacturers and government entities. He has handled cross-border and regulatory matters like global trade policy, global trade litigation, export controls and sanctions, anti-corruption statutes, customs and antidumping.
