Squire Sanders announced earlier today that it has hired a team of antitrust lawyers as partners in Washington.
Former Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld attorneys Mark Botti, who was head of Akin's antitrust and unfair competition practice, J. Brady Dugan and Anthony Swisher are making the move to Squire Sanders, the firm noted in a press release.
“The expansion of our antitrust practice has been one of the key strategic goals of our Washington, DC office and our regulatory practice. Mark, Brady and Anthony are an ideal fit and bring tremendous credentials in all aspects of antitrust work,” said Jim Maiwurm, chair and global CEO of Squire Sanders, in the release.
The Washington Post broke the story this morning.
