Midsize firm Arnall Golden Gregory has bolstered its government investigations and white collar crimes, antitrust and regulatory practices with the addition of two attorneys to its Washington office.
Jeffrey Jacobovitz and Devid Felt join as partner and of counsel, respectively. Jacobovitz was previously a principal with McCarthy, Sweeney & Harkaway. Felt previously ran his own solo shop, DFL Consulting, LLC.
Jacobovitz focuses his practice on antitrust, white collar defense and complex civil litigation. His clients include corporations, trade associations, health care organizations and individuals.
Felt focuses his practice on regulatory compliance examinations, government contracts and corporate governance. He has handled matters related to banking, housing finance.
In an interview, Jacobovitz said that he anticipates more activity in the areas of healthcare fraud and abuse in the coming year.
"Our firm has a very large healthcare practice and that is an area that the government has been very active in," Jacobovitz said.
This isn't the only recent move involving antitrust attorneys. Yesterday, a team of antitrust attorneys moved from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld to Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.
