Baseball: The Washington Nationals lost their first home playoff game in almost 80 years yesterday 8-0 to St. Louis. The Nats face elimination this afternoon as they square off against the Cardinals in game four. The Washington Post reports that what could have been a day of celebration was one of heartache instead.

Voter ID: A three-judge panel in Washington ruled that the South Carolina Voter ID law does not disciminate against minorities. The law, which will not be in effect for November's election, will take effect for future elections thereafter. Our own Mike Scarcella reports.
