A D.C.-based Dewey & LeBoeuf partner has left the embattled firm for Baker & Hostetler, the latter announced Wednesday.
Melvin Schwechter joins Baker’s litigation group as a partner and will serve as the national team leader of the international trade and compliance practice. He focuses his practice on international trade, including customs, export controls, trade sanctions, embargoes and investment by foreign companies in U.S. businesses.
