Jones Day partner and trial attorney John Williams has moved to Cozen O’Connor, the latter firm announced Tuesday.
Williams will be part of Cozen’s litigation department in the firm’s Washington office. The attorney, who boasts more than 30 years of trial experience, has represented R.J. Reynolds, Mobil Oil Corporation and Nextel, among others.
Williams focuses his litigation practice on commercial, advertising, antitrust, intellectual property and first amendment matters.
“John is a distinguished trial attorney of the highest caliber and we are thrilled to welcome him to the firm and to our Washington office, which is a key component of the firm’s strategic plan,” Cozen CEO Tad Decker said in a written statement.
