A former Nixon Peabody partner has joined Mayer Brown's D.C. office as a partner in the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice, according to a Mayer Brown press release.
Kelly Kramer’s practice focus will be on white collar defense and compliance, and securities litigation and enforcements, according to the release. Kramer has 15 years experience involving clients from Asia, Europe and the Americas, according to the release.
Kramer will work as a defense attorney for people and companies in SEC investigations and multidistrict civil litigation, public corruption investigations and prosecutions, asset forfeiture litigation, and Foreign Corrupt Practice Act and tax investigations, according to the release.
“Kelly’s wide-ranging experience in many types of white collar cases and his deep knowledge of securities enforcement matters, both here and abroad, will further enhance our ability to assist clients in these areas,” said Mark Ryan, partner-in-charge of Mayer Brown’s Washington office, in the release.
