A former legal advisor to the Federal Communications Commission has joined the Washington office of Wilkinson Barker Knauer, the firm announced Monday.
Rosemary Harold, formerly the legal advisor to FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell, joined the firm as a partner. At the FCC, Harold was also the Deputy Chief of the Media Bureau, which reviewed the Sirius/XM merger.
Before joining the commission, Harold was a partner with Wiley Rein & Fielding [now known as Wiley Rein], where she worked on FCC regulatory proceedings in the media, satellite and wireless issues and First Amendment commercial speech matters.
“Rosemary’s depth and breadth of experience in and out of government will enhance our firm’s ability to meet our clients’ needs,” Wilkinson Managing Partner Bryan Tramont said in a statement.
