The Washington law firm of Baach Robinson & Lewis is getting a name change, the firm announced Friday.
Henceforth the firm will be called Lewis Baach, bearing the names of partners Martin Baach and Eric Lewis. The name change coincided with the departure of partner Jeffrey Robinson, who left to take a position with the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.
“We believe the name Lewis Baach will enable us to shine a spotlight as well on our international financial litigation practice and the greater globalization of our practice overall,” Baach said in a statement.
The firm specializes in liability claims, insolvency, insurance and reinsurance disputes, government relations initiatives, employment issues, and white-collar criminal defense, according to the firm’s website.
