Reprieve: Last night the Supreme Court granted a stay of execution for Duane Buck, the man convicted of a double murder in Texas. Buck's lawyers argued that Buck deserves a new sentencing because race was a factor in the 1997 sentencing. The Texas Tribune reports that Buck already had eaten his last meal of fried chicken, salad, French fries, fried fish, jalapeño peppers and apples when he was informed of his reprieve.
