Andrew Palmieri joined the Washington office of Saul Ewing as a partner in the project and resource development department, the firm announced Thursday.
Palmieri will also be a member of the Philadelphia-based firm’s real estate practice group.
Before joining Saul Ewing, Palmieri was a partner at Vorys, Slater, Seymour and Pease, where he represented domestic and international interest in commercial, corporate and real estate transactions.
“He is an experienced lawyer who is nationally recognized and known as a leading lawyer by his peers,” said Mark Gruhin, co-managing partner of Saul Ewing's D.C. office. “He brings a focus in northern Virginia as well as strengthening our core group here in the district.”
In August, Palmieri will assume the position of chairman of the real property, trust and estate law section of the American Bar Association. He is also the chairman-elect of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.

Interesting info.
