Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has appointed two partners to head up its Washington, D.C. office, the firm announced Wednesday.
Daniel Nelson and Drew Tulumello will act as co-partners in charge of the branch, replacing Arthur Pasternak and Karen Manos, who led the office for the last three years.
Nelson is a litigation partner who focuses on environmental, mass tort, business and antitrust litigation.
Tulumello is vice-chairman of the firms’ class action practice group, and also of the crisis management practice group. Notably, he also represents the National Football League Players Association during the ongoing lockout discussions.
“We welcome Dan and Drew in their new leadership roles,” Ken Doran, managing partner of Gibson Dunn, said in a statement. “They both have successful litigation practices, and I know they will bring the same energy to their new roles.”
