Morgan, Lewis & Bockius announced today that the firm is adding Glen Bernstein as a partner in its energy practice.
Bernstein was previously a partner in the energy regulation practice at Sidley Austin, and before that he was at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, also in the energy regulatory group. He was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius before joining Skadden in 2000.
“They have a great depth of practice here that was very appealing to me,” Bernstein said. “It was just a perfect fit in terms of adding additional resources [for clients] and where I’d be able to help expand their practice.”
Bernstein will focus much of his practice on transmission issues for the electric industry.
"Glen is a strong addition to our FERC team," Kathryn Sutton, leader of the energy practice, said in a release from the firm. "His experience advising companies both in the courtroom and in the boardroom offers our utility clients another seasoned resource as they face increasingly complex federal and state energy regulations."
