Chadbourne & Parke announced today that long-time white-collar litigator Abbe Lowell will be rejoining its ranks after a four-year stint at McDermott, Will & Emery.
Lowell – who made The National Law Journal’s list of “Most Influential Lawyers” this year – will lead Chadbourne’s white-collar defense and special litigation and investigations group, splitting his time between the firm’s New York and Washington offices.
Before joining McDermott, Will & Emery in 2007 to lead its white-collar defense practice group, Lowell held the same job he’ll hold now at Chadbourne from 2003 to 2007, according to a release from the firm. In his 20-plus-year career, Lowell has represented members of Congress and numerous other high-profile clients, and previously served as an attorney to the U.S. House and with the U.S. Department of Justice.
