Two Washington lawyers who specialize in white-collar investigations are among the witnesses for a planned congressional hearing Thursday on the anti-secrecy Web site WikiLeaks.
McDermott, Will & Emery partner Abbe Lowell and O’Melveny and Myers partner Kenneth Wainstein are on the witness list, which the House Judiciary Committee released today. Wainstein was the first-ever assistant attorney general for national security in the U.S. Justice Department.
Also on the witness list are consumer advocate and former presidential candidate Ralph Nader, University of Chicago law professor Geoffrey Stone and American University law professor Steve Vladeck.
The hearing will be the first on Capitol Hill since WikiLeaks began releasing documents last month from a cache of U.S. diplomatic cables. It is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Updated to reflect a time change.

I have not seen, but if not, video will be available here: http://judiciary.house.gov/hearings/calendar.html
