Patton Boggs has registered to lobby on homeland security and other issues for major government contractor Northrop Grumman Corp., according to U.S. Senate records.
It's the first time the lobbying and contracting heavyweights have teamed up, records show. Northrop Grumman has been a client of the Breaux Lott Leadership Group, which announced a merger with Patton Boggs this summer, but the new registration is for some long-time Patton Boggs partners.
Listed on the filing are Norma Krayem and Stephen McHale, who are co-chairs of the firm’s homeland security and defense practice, and five others. The registration was received Wednesday but is effective June 16. The firm and the company declined to comment.
Northrop Grumman is a client of several other lobbying firms, including Elmendorf Strategies.
