The Senate Judiciary Committee has set a new date for Goodwin Liu's confirmation hearing.
Liu, a law professor and dean at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, who has been nominated for a seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, will go before the committee April 16, the committee said today. His hearing was originally scheduled for March 24 but was postponed because of the Senate’s debate on health care.
