David Williamson, a former principal in Beveridge & Diamond’s D.C. office, begins work today in Andrews Kurth’s Washington office as a counsel in the firm’s environmental group.
Williamson spent the past 11 years at Beveridge - an environmental and land use litigation boutique. He helped clients with environmental litigation, regulatory counseling, and legislative issues. He says he left for Andrews because of "its growing practice in renewable energy transactions." When asked whether he had any relationship with anyone at Andrews Kurth before joining the firm, Williamson declined to comment.
Williamson declined to say whether any clients would follow him to Andrews Kurth.
