AG Holder Is Not all a-Twitter

For a second, The BLT was deceived into thinking (slash hoped...OMG!) that Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. had hopped on the Twitter wagon, when we came across this.

And why not? Plenty of lawmakers have taken to parsing their lives into 140-character shards -- some with more deft than others, according to this Politico piece.

But a Justice Department spokeswoman has confirmed that the Twitter page, embroidered with official-looking DOJ crests, is a fraud. The tip off: The most recent tweet reads, “Perez Hilton: Lindsay Lohan back on the Drugs???”

I know. We were surprised, too.
