Clifford Chance has named a new managing partner in the firm’s 52-lawyer Washington office, according to Legal Week, a Legal Times sibling publication. Clifford’s partnership elected David DiBari, a partner in the firm’s litigation group, to the office's top spot yesterday.
DiBari replaces Leiv Blad as the D.C. managing partner after Blad left in November for Bingham McCutchen. Along with Blad, two other Clifford lawyers Boyd Cloern, and Jon Roellke also left Clifford Chance for Bingham’s D.C. office.
According to Legal Week, since Blad left the firm, Clifford’s regional managing partner Craig Medwick has assumed the responsibilities of both the New York and Washington office.
