As details of the financial crisis and of Congress’ plan to stem the turmoil continue to unfold, law firms are responding to client concerns.
This week, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld launched the “Financial Crisis Markets Update,” an e-mailed newsletter intended to provide clients with news and analysis of the legal, political, and regulatory actions that could affect their businesses. The newsletter pairs with Akin’s new blog, the Financial Markets Crisis Resource Center, also launched earlier this week.
McGuireWoods and McGuireWoods Consulting plan to hold a free teleconference for clients on Monday to review and analyze developments with the bailout plan that happen over the weekend.
