Atlanta's Troutman Sanders is set to announce its merger today with D.C.-based litigation boutique Ross, Dixon & Bell.
Troutman’s D.C. managing partner, Kevin Fitzgerald, a member of the executive committee, said Troutman will add 100 lawyers from Ross, Dixon, bringing its total to 750 lawyers in 15 offices. The merger will give the firm a far larger footprint in Washington, as well offices in California and Chicago.
Ross, Dixon, founded in 1983, is home to a large insurance and commercial litigation practice, and worked on litigation stemming from the Enron and Worldcom meltdowns.
