The D.C. madam, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, was found guilty on all charges - including racketeering and money laundering – related to Pamela Martin & Associates, an escort service she ran for 13 years.
The maximum prison sentence is 50 years, if the time were to run consecutively. But the advisory sentencing guidelines are substantially lower.
U.S. District Judge James Robertson released her, saying she is not a flight risk. Her sentencing date is slated for July 24 at 9:30 a.m.
Palfrey’s attorney, Preston Burton of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, said Palfrey is holding up, but that “she just wants to go home.”
