Chief Judge Douglas Ginsburg to Step Down

Chief Judge Douglas Ginsburg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit announced today that he will step down from his position as chief judge on Feb. 10, 2008. Ginsburg, who has held the post since 2001, will be succeeded by Judge David Sentelle. Sentelle joined the D.C. Circuit in 1987.
