A former New York partner of Holland & Knight's won't see his day in court after a Manhattan federal judge dismissed John Weir's ERISA claim that he was let go because of his age ruling that the claims were barred by the statute of limitations. In a 2005 lawsuit, Weir alleged that the firm had fired him in 2002 partly to avoid paying him retirement benefits.
