Clinton said Obama’s remarks at Monday’s debate that he would be willing to meet with leaders of Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, and Venezuela during his first year in office were irresponsible, and highlighted his inexperience. Meanwhile, Obama fired back, saying a better show of irresponsibility was Clinton’s vote to go to war in Iraq.
Tour de Scandal: Kazakh Tour de France rider Alexandre Vinokourov was suspended yesterday after testing positive for a barred blood transfusion. The news followed his first-place performance at Saturday’s time trial. Today, some of the remaining riders showed their frustration over the doping accusations by refusing to start at the scheduled time.
Big cheese: TSA officers have seized suspicious items, including blocks of cheese that looked like improvised explosives, at Milwaukee, San Diego, Baltimore and Houston airports, according to an alert sent to law enforcement agencies this week. Though the bulletin is being called routine, officials say it’s possible the four incidents may have been attempts to test how easy it would be to sneak real explosives on board.
