Back in the Game?

Scooter Libby seems to have just a bit of time on his hands these days. Yesterday, the Vice President’s former chief of staff was spotted, mitt in hand, at a Sunday-morning pickup softball game at a park in upper Northwest D.C.

Several observers noted that Libby was a regular player before going to work for the veep, but that he dropped out of the group about seven years ago. At the time, he played left field. Yesterday, he was relegated to second base.

But the real question: Is Scooter Libby a team player? We’ll have to see if he works his way back into the regular line-up.
