The Supreme Court's newest justice, Samuel Alito, is selling his New Jersey home asking price just south of a million dollars in the presumed hope of finding something more permanent in the Washington area than his temporary quarters near the Court. Roll Call's Heard on the Hill got a look at the on-line listing, which in keeping with the Court's general level of dignity, was not reprinted for general consumption.
But there is a vague description of what the four-bedroom house in the township of West Caldwell looks like: "a typical, newish, suburban home." For a look at how Alito's doing, try Tony Mauro's interview with the Justice earlier this month, marking Alito's first anniversary on the bench.
